In Menomonie we operate on beautiful Lake Menomin, a 1,009 acre lake located in Dunn County. Trips are complimentary to our guests and our custom built pontoon accommodates up to three wheelchairs and a total of 10 in a group at a time (including passengers and their support staff). Everything is provided for a two hour fishing or boating excursion. We supply our guests with rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice cold bottled water, and trained volunteer support staff to make your trip both fun and successful.   • When you schedule a trip that is open, you will immediately be confirmed for that trip
  • The minimum number of people for each trip is four people, with a maximum of 10 (maximum of three wheelchairs)
  • You will be able to see and book partially-full trips – if one group books for eight people, you would be able to book the two remaining spots.
  • You will be able to view/print all of the trip information including your captain and first mate’s contact information
  • You will be able to view/print all of the trips that you have reserved for the year
  • You will receive an automatic email reminder 72 hours prior to each trip

  • May 25th – September 30th
  • All trips are two hours long
  • Monday through Friday, with varied times during the day

LOCATION: Lake Menomin at Point Comfort Park, Menomonie, WI 54751

DIRECTIONS:  From Stout Rd/Hwy 12/Hwy 29 in Menomonie, travel south onto 21st St. NE (the intersection with stoplights near Red Cedar Hospital and Kwik Trip) and continue for ½ mile. The park is on your left.

ARRIVAL TIME: Please plan to arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time ready to board.

CANCELLATION IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER: Your captain will call you within 12 hours of your scheduled time to confirm outing details. In the event of bad weather, the client and the captain will decide if the trip will be cancelled. If for any other reason you are cancelling a trip, you must notify the captain and the scheduler.

Required Forms:

Organizations must:

  1. Download and bring a completed GUEST BOARDING PASS RELEASE OF LIABILITY & PHOTO APPROVAL form and
  2. Download and bring a completed INSTITUTIONAL FREE FISHING AUTHORIZATION form, which serves as the fishing license for residents of state institutions in Wisconsin. If guests do not qualify for the Institutional Free Fishing Authorization form, they must have a valid WI fishing license. See below for more information.

Please bring both forms #1 & #2 for you trip and deliver them to the captain before the passengers start boarding the pontoon. Failure to bring these documents may cause your trip to be delayed.

FISHING LICENSES: If you indicate that guests will be fishing, they must have a WI fishing license. If guests do not qualify for #2 above, click here for information on obtaining the appropriate WI fishing license. Guests under the age of 16 or born prior to 1927 DO NOT require a license in WI. All others DO require a valid WI license.
